Equityskool ("we", "us") is a stock market education platform owned and operated by Ravi Kumar, sole proprietor, 715, 7th Floor, Chandigarh City Center, VIP Road, Block D & E, Zirakpur, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab – 140603. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025.

1. What we collect

Details you give us: name, mobile/WhatsApp number, email, city, your experience level and language preference, and anything you write in a message to us.
Programme data: batch allocation, attendance, quiz results and certificate details.
Technical data: device, browser, IP address and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics/advertising pixels (such as Meta Pixel) when you use this website.

2. Why we use it

To register you for the free programme and contact you about your batch, schedule, joining links and reminders (WhatsApp, call, SMS, email).
To run the classes, community and certificate process.
To answer your queries and handle complaints.
To send educational updates and information about our other programmes — only with your consent, and you can opt out any time.
To measure and improve our website and advertising.

3. Consent and opting out

We collect your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form on this website (the box is never pre-ticked). You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp, clicking unsubscribe in an email, or writing to privacy@equityskool.com. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect what was done before withdrawal.

4. Who we share it with

Service providers that help us operate — e.g. WhatsApp Business/automation tools, Google Workspace (spreadsheets, forms, Meet), Zoom, Telegram, email and analytics providers. They process data only on our instructions.
Broker partner (only if applicable and only with your separate consent): if you independently choose to open a trading/demat account through a broker we are associated with, your details are shared with that broker through its official process. This is never a condition for joining our programme, and any such relationship will be disclosed on this website.
Legal requirements: when required by law, regulators (such as SEBI or the stock exchanges) or a court order.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies and advertising pixels

We use cookies and pixels (including Meta Pixel and similar analytics tools) to understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad preferences in your Facebook/Instagram settings.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes above — generally while you are an active learner and for up to 3 years after your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required by law. You can ask us to delete it earlier.

7. Security

We use reasonable security safeguards: access to learner data is restricted to authorised team members, protected by account security (including two-factor authentication where available), and we never ask for or store your broker login, password, PIN or OTP. If a data breach affecting you occurs, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as required by law.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access a summary of your personal data, correct or update it, ask for its erasure, withdraw consent, nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf, and raise a grievance. Write to Ravi Kumar (Owner) at privacy@equityskool.com; we respond within 7 working days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children

Our programmes are for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared data with us, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the "last updated" date.
